Current Prices & Services
As my services continue to develop, I wanted to share an updated guide to the treatments, fitness and rehabilitation support I currently offer.
Every horse is different, so my approach is always tailored to the individual in front of me — taking into consideration their history, workload, discipline, current fitness and what you would like to achieve.
Initial Osteopathic Consultation — Starting from £70
This is the first appointment for your horse and allows plenty of time for me to get to know them, gain their trust and carry out a thorough whole-body assessment.
I look at your horse's history, movement, joint mobility, muscles, fascia and any areas of tension or compensation before tailoring treatment to what I find.
Initial consultations generally take around 1 hour 30 minutes, although this can vary depending on the individual horse and how they respond to assessment and treatment.
Follow-Up Osteopathic Session — Starting from £60
Follow-up sessions are for any appointment after your horse's initial consultation.
These may be recommended more regularly when working through a particular restriction or movement issue, or simply used as part of your horse's ongoing maintenance and preventative care.
The frequency of treatment is always based on the individual horse rather than following a set schedule.
Osteopathy + Tailor-Made Plan — Starting from £100
A combination of an initial osteopathic consultation and an individual fitness or rehabilitation plan.
This is ideal for horses returning to work, rebuilding condition or requiring a little more structure and support with their training.
The osteopathic assessment allows me to gain a better understanding of how your horse is currently moving and functioning, which can then be considered when creating their individual exercise programme.
Rehabilitation Plan — £65
A detailed, progressive exercise plan for horses returning to work following injury or a period of reduced activity.
Plans can include appropriate groundwork and ridden exercises, progressive increases in workload, specific exercises, progression markers and scheduled reviews.
Where a horse is rehabilitating from an injury or diagnosed condition, the programme is designed to work alongside veterinary diagnosis and guidance, not replace it.
Tailored Fitness Plan — £45
A personalised 4–6 week fitness programme designed around your horse's current fitness, workload, discipline and individual goals.
Depending on the horse, this may incorporate ridden schooling, hacking, polework, groundwork and appropriate rest and recovery.
Rather than simply increasing workload, exercises are selected to keep training varied while progressively developing fitness, strength, balance and coordination.
Osteopathic Care & Training — Bespoke Pricing
Alongside my work as an equine osteopath, I am also an experienced freelance rider, having worked with horses across a wide variety of disciplines, from backing and young horse development through to established competition horses.
This package brings together the two areas of my work that I am most passionate about: understanding how the horse's body is functioning and applying that knowledge practically through their training.
Your horse receives an individual osteopathic treatment and management plan alongside a guided exercise programme. I can then come and exercise your horse as frequently as required, allowing their training to be adapted as they develop.
This can be particularly useful for owners who want to improve their horse's fitness, strength or way of going but don't have the time to consistently provide all of the exercise required themselves.
It may also suit horses returning to work, developing their fitness, building strength or needing a more individual approach to their training.
Pricing is bespoke and will depend on your horse's needs, the frequency of ridden sessions and the level of ongoing support required.
Not Sure Which Option Is Right for Your Horse?
You don't need to know exactly which service you need before getting in touch.
If you would like to discuss what you've noticed with your horse, their current workload and what you're hoping to achieve, I can help you decide which option would be most appropriate.
Travel charges may apply depending on location. Veterinary involvement may be required where there is an injury, unexplained lameness, significant pain or an existing veterinary diagnosis.
